The ever- present sea obsession is playing out on many levels this month, and May has seen my work become more and more sea driven …alongside i’m drawn more and more towards creating immersive films in flat screen learning, inventing and using different sound and visual techniques to enhance this experience.
My insta 360 camera has a dive case and I’ve enjoyed underwater filming with different seabed terrains at various locations near my home … my connectedness to nature and the ocean has evolved with the month into beautiful seascapes with suggestions of selkies and sea nymphs.
Exploring renaissance esq aesthetics has caused my plumit into a hermeticism vortex ... the wonders and wandering around these ideas are inspiring my life long passions and fulfilling my ever flowing artistic dreams . I’m truly feeling at home in this arena as a project basis and now, meandering around the corners of my mind are glimmers of ideas forming for films in installation settings, places to make this work really come into
its own .
A true essence of my deep yearning is emerging through my daily life around the sea . Above and below …
