Magpies and Buzzing

Chose to use my feet more this month and was rewarded by noticing the usually unnoticed that was all around me. I prefer walking without headphones , as there are so many different sounds and levels of noise to get drawn into and this is my obsession. This little clip of a bush down the end of my road just completely re enforces my thoughts on exploring spaces. The droning wasps and bees was overwhelming and recorded the sounds for a good length of time to use in future work. Experimenting with multi layered bees and wasps makes rumbling deep bass noise and sets frenzied, on the cusp atmospheres. That's what I've done in the past - so this new recording will set the tone of working it into different feels this year.... sparking new project horizons....
